Gira Control 19 Client

Gira Control 19 Client, glass black

The Gira Control 19 Client is a touch screen PC for control of the KNX installation via the Gira HomeServer 4 or the Gira FacilityServer. The brilliant display with a screen diagonal of 47 cm (18.5") displays all building technology functions via the Gira Interface, the user interface of the Gira HomeServer/FacilityServer, in a clear and concise way.

The Gira Control 19 Client can be remote controlled using the HomeServer 4/FacilityServer via a system service. In this way the Gira Control 19 Client can be set to power-saving Standby mode when absent, and can be awakened upon return (WakeonLan).

Furthermore, the screensavers can be controlled or external programmes such as a web browser can be started or quit. Many other possibilities are covered by the documentation.

Functions

On the touch screen with a screen diagonal of 47 cm [18.5"], the clearly designed, multi-award-winning Gira Interface clearly and concisely displays the complete building technology. This centrally controls a wide range of areas such as lights, blinds, ventilation, heating and household appliances. Additional functions include: saving and calling up of light scenes, listening to music, using Internet applications and displaying e-mails, device graphs and alarm messages. Intuitive
menu guidance allows quick access to the desired function. All functions are available within two levels. Detailed information and operating elements are displayed in a pop-up menu.
The generously proportioned display is clearly legible from all directions,
meaning that it can be operated just as well by children as by adults. The capacitive touch screen ensures simple operation with a pleasant feel. Multicoloured parameterisable RGB LED behind the glass cover can

Door communication

The Gira Control 19 Client is equipped with a loudspeaker and microphone, and in combination with the Gira DCS-IP-gateway can also be used as a home station for audio-visual door communication. The door communication is simply integrated into the Gira Interface via a plug-in for the Gira HomeServer or Gira FacilityServer. In this way the Gira Keyless In Fingerprint, Transponder and Keypad components can be integrated and intelligent links of any type can be created, for example opening the door can be coupled with switching on the light or heating. In addition, it is also possible to use the Gira Control 19 Client as a home station aided by special software, the DCS Communicator, even without the HomeServer/FacilityServer. Functions such as creating user groups, distributing rights or personalising ringing tones open up flexible possibilities for individualisation.
