Release Notes – Gira Eco

1. Support for additional inverters

Starting with this version, the following inverter and hybrid inverter systems can be connected directly to the Eco:

• SMA
• Kostal
• Fronius
• SolarEdge

2. Expansion of compatible wallboxes

The list of supported charging points has been expanded to include the following manufacturers:

• Spelsberg
• Walter-Werke

3. New charging modes

Two new operating modes are available for charge control:

• Surplus charging (Eco mode)
  Use of surplus PV electricity for maximum efficiency.
• Direct charging (immediate mode)
  Immediate charging regardless of PV yield.

4. Optimised load management

Internal load management has been further improved and now enables particularly efficient charging with small PV surplus currents.
