Gira E3

Gira eNet is the bi-directional wireless system for the smart networking of building technology, allowing you to control lighting, blinds and scenes easily and by remote. The battery-operated Gira wireless wall transmitters can be conveniently placed precisely where switches or buttons are required, regardless of the mains connections. They can be either securely mounted on the wall using screws or conveniently attached to smooth surfaces with adhesive strips. Bi-colour LEDs indicate both the signal transmission status and the actuator status.

A striking feature of the Gira surface-mounted video home station is its homogeneous front panel, which harmonises perfectly with the clean surfaces and contours of the Gira E3 design line. Its large 5.6 cm (2.2") TFT-colour display is flush with the touch-sensitive buttons on the control panel. The user simply needs to gently touch the appropriate symbol. In order to ensure greater operational reliability, internal calls and switching actions can be assigned individual names. The speakerphone function offers excellent voice quality, even if the speaker is not standing directly in front of the microphone.

Finding your way safely in the dark and switching on the room light if needed with a single contactless motion: the Gira Sensotec LED unites these functions in one device. The Gira Sensotec LED is a contactless switch with integrated LED orientation light. When motion is detected, it switches on the orientation light. If more light is needed, the user can switch on the lighting with a single contactless motion from a distance of 5 cm. The illumination intensity can be adjusted in automatic mode to prevent glare.

The Gira RDS flush-mounted radio simply sits in the wall – just like your light switches and socket outlets. This does away with the need for annoying cables, and work surfaces and counters can be kept free. The speaker has been completely redesigned to give the RDS flush-mounted radio a pure sound – and in excellent stereo quality when the Gira additional speaker, which is available as an option, is connected. Adding a Gira docking station to the system allows you to connect external music sources to the Gira RDS flush-mounted radio or a stereo system via Bluetooth, and also provides a fixed charging unit for a wide variety of mobile devices.

The Gira touch sensor 3 Plus guarantees a particularly high level of convenience when operating numerous KNX functions. In addition to an integrated temperature sensor to measure the local temperature, it also features a controller for direct room temperature control. An external temperature sensor can also be connected if desired. Moreover, the touch sensor 3 Plus is equipped with a graphic display. It is used to clearly display temperature values, the controller status and messages received via the KNX system.

The Gira SCHUKO socket outlet with LED orientation light has a recessed light strip that projects a light corridor downwards by means of a white LED. This provides glare-free, indirect orientation lighting. The Gira socket outlet with LED orientation light also features a twilight sensor that automatically turns on the light when darkness sets in and switches it off again when there is enough natural light.
